Massive $100 "Mongo" 9lb Mexican Burrito Challenge!!

A&Z #928 - Randy Santel "Atlas" vs the massive $100 "Mongo" 9lb Mexican Burrito Challenge at Burritos Mexican Grill in Sarasota, Florida!! Katina and I decided to kick off our 2021 food challenge touring in Florida, and our February Florida Tour turned into a February & March Florida Tour!! I attempted lots of food challenges all over the state of Florida. For challenge #8, we went up to Burritos Mexican Grill in Sarasota, Florida and I attempted their massive $100 "Mongo" 9lb Mexican Burrito Challenge. I had 1 hour to finish a giant 6-tortilla burrito filled with 1/2 chicken, 1/2 ground beef, refried beans, Mexican rice, lettuce, juicy tomatoes, cheese, and more, topped with red enchilada sauce, green chili verde sauce, pico de gallo, sour cream, and guacamole. I was trying to win my $100 Mexican burrito meal free plus a sweet t-shirt, $100 cash, and the 2nd spot on their Wall of Fame, joining my friend Nathan Figueroa who was the first and only winner before I attempted the challenge. BIG thanks to everyone with Burritos Mexican Grill for the extra delicious food, drinks, and hospitality!! Thanks also to everyone who came up to watch and meet us that warm February "Taco Tuesday" evening!! Burritos Mexican Grill's massive "Mongo" 9lb Mexican Burrito Challenge in Sarasota, Florida ($100):

- Burritos Mexican Grill is a family owned and operated casual Mexican Restaurant / Cantina that has proudly satisfied appetites with the best authentic Mexican food in Sarasota since 1995. Burritos Restaurant is well known by locals for it’s tasty food, large portions, good prices, and laid back ambiance.
- There are 6 big burrito tortillas needed for this challenge filled with Mexican rice and refried beans.
- You can choose which meat(s) you want in your burrito - steak, ground beef, chicken, and/or pork.
- It also contains lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, and whatever other fillings/toppings you want added.
- The base burrito will weigh 8-9 pounds if you are lucky, not including any additional toppings.
- The "Mongo" Burrito is served wet and topped with red & green sauces plus sour cream, guacamole, and pico de gallo. This all weighs 1-2lbs in addition to the base 8-9lb burrito. Good luck if decide to try it!!
- There is a 1 hour time limit to finish everything. Fail the challenge, and you owe $100 for it :(
- Winners receive the $100 Mexican burrito free, a sweet t-shirt, $100 cash, and Wall of Fame!!
