Washington Today (2-22-24): Border security, gov't funding, Ukraine aid are major topics at CPAC

Border security is one of the top issues at CPAC, the Conservative Political Action Conference, with news reports that President Joe Biden is considering executive action that could limit migrants' ability to claim asylum. Government funding is also being discussed, with the first deadline before a partial government shutdown just over a week away. And aid to Ukraine, which has passed in the Senate, and according to Rep. Patrick McHenry (R-NC), would easily pass the House if given the chance.

We hear about these topics, plus look at former President Donald Trump's popularity among CPAC organizers, speakers and attendees. And a look at an alternative summit called Principles First happening this weekend.

Vice President Kamala Harris and Gov. Brian Kemp (R-GA) react to the Alabama Supreme Court's ruling that frozen embryos created through in vitro fertilization are legally children that must be protected.

White House says the FBI and Homeland Security Department are looking into today's AT&T cell phone network outages.
