The last Dessert Wine we did was such a massive success that we had to bring you another one, from a producer you may recognize. Washington Rieslings are some of the best produced in the US. While most of them are dry, this one is a late harvest made in the style most similar to a Auslese Riesling.
In the glass, the wine is a heavy gold color. As expected, there are a ton of stone fruit and tropical fruit notes with intense structure. While the wine may be a little heavy, the natural high acidity of Riesling keeps the wine in perfect balance.
This is the definition of a cheese wine, or just a great after dinner drink!
