Established in 1895, Maison Gardet was a small House winery founded by a shopkeeper in Eperny, France. After years of refining techniques and style, the house made a move in 1930 to Chigny-les-Roses to grow and become one of the great houses of Champagne. Their approach to using modern technology to keep a classic standard is their entire basis when making wine.

This is as classic as it gets. The blend is equal between Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. The grapes are aged 6 to 8 years on the lees with 25% of them aged in oak. Notes of fresh cream, brioche, and butter are all backed by golden apple and tart stone fruits. This is full of body and flavor and able to be paired with pretty much anything. The acidity level is high enough to go with things like raw fish and oysters, but also cut through the fat of a rib eye steak.
