1 Day in Ohakune [NZ] | Travel with kids

We spent one kid-friendly day in Ohakune, New Zealand exploring Waitonga Falls in Tongariro National Park, the Dinosaur House Museum, and the Ohakune Carrot Adventure Park. We went mid-summer 2022 during the “Orange” traffic light setting, so were able to do all the fun outdoor and indoor activities on our agenda!

The 4km Waitonga Falls hike took us around 1.5 hours and was a very easy walk for our 4 year old.
