Guwahati Zoo Welcomes "Parijat": Assam CM Feeds Baby Giraffe Milk #Guwahati

Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma was seen at Guwahati Zoo feeding milk to the first giraffe calf born there. During his visit he also announced the name of the nearly two-month-old calf, Parijat. Earlier, the CM had asked the public for name suggestions for the calf and received 350 entries. The newborn giraffe is being provided 7.5 litres of milk daily.
