Fur Real? A Chinese Zoo Painted Dogs To Pass Them Off As Pandas

A zoo in China, lacking pandas, painted their Chow Chow dogs to resemble pandas, calling them "panda dogs." However, their wagging tails gave them away. The zoo faced criticism for deception and mistreatment of the dogs, though they denied wrongdoing, claiming they used non-toxic dye and advertised them as "panda dogs." This isn't the first such incident in China, as another zoo was accused of using a man in a bear costume in place of real bears.
