The Battle of Selinus (409 BCE) - Second Sicilian War

The Battle of Selinus marked the start of the Second Sicilian War in which Carthage attempts to conquer Sicily from the greeks and native people. Hannibal Mago leads the expedition on a mission to stop the raids on segesta once and for all by ending the greek city of Selinus. Hannibal Mago is also driven by vengeance and want to avenge the death of his grandfather Hamilcar, who died during the First Sicilian War.
