Remote Work Visa Steps:

Step 1 you have to do is wait! Well that’s only if the Decreto Flussi isn’t open (This is the period in which they accept applications)
Step 2, you will hire a third party like an immigration consultancy agency to submit the ‘Nulla Osta’ application for you at an immigration desk since it must be done in Italy. You could try to plan a vacation and time this submission yourself, but it would most likely cost you more money than hiring a professional. Not to mention the major learning curve.
Step 3, If awarded the ‘Nulla Osta,’ you must register your business with Italian Business Registrar, the Companies House, and Tax Registrar.

These steps must be done before you attempt to apply for a visa since you need to provide the original ‘Nulla Osta’ document showing your approval to set up shop in Italy. Now that the pre-stages are done, it’s time to take things into your own hands and apply for the Visa.

Step 4, Book an appointment at your local Italian Consulate
Step 5, Collect your personal documents
Step 6, Fill out and submit your application in person
Step 7, Pay the fee. Which is 116 euros for most visas.
