Preparations have started for setting up a new Noida. The responsibility of preparing preliminary report and detail project report (DPR) has also been given to a Delhi-based company. If the experts are to be believed, then the new settler Noida will be like the industrial city of Dholera in Gujarat. The work of settling Dholera near Ahmedabad is going on. The purpose of making new Noida like Dholera is to attract foreign investors. Preparations are underway to establish a new Noida by merging 80 villages of Gautam Budh Nagar and Bulandshahr.
It should be noted that the company preparing the master plan will submit the detailed project report in 10 months and the initial report of the new city to the Noida Authority in the next 4 months. According to experts, the Dholera project is being studied to attract foreign investors in the newly settled Noida like Dholera. The most important four points of Dholera are being emphasized. These points are class infrastructure, sustainability, social infrastructure and efficient governance. Due to this, the Delhi-based company School of Planning and Architecture, which prepared the master plan of the new Noida, has been given a special instruction to keep the Dholera model in focus.Noida administration will cancel the registration of 12,000 vehicles in July, this is the big reason.
SEZs will also be developed in the new city to attract the foreign investors and get a glimpse of the Dholera model in the new Noida. Industrial units, industrial estates, agro and food processing zones, IT, ITS and biotech zones, skill development centers, knowledge hubs, logistics hubs and integrated townships under SEZs will be given opportunity in this scheme.
According to experts, Noida Authority has been selected for this big and important project in view of Noida’s experience and planning of CEO Ritu Maheshwari. The investment zone of the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Railway corridor will be developed in the new city. This corridor will pass through seven states Delhi, Western Uttar Pradesh, Southern Haryana, East Rajasthan, East Gujarat, Western Maharashtra and Indore in Madhya Pradesh.
