$1,600/Mo to buy a Townhouse. Is it a Good Deal?

DR Horton is building $250,000 townhomes about one hour south of Nashville and the homes are not selling. With many having an "available sign" in front of them.

The monthly payment for a townhouse at this price would be around $1,600/month if someone is buying with a mortgage. Yet despite that low payment, they're sitting for sale.

One reason they haven't sold yet might be their location. As these townhouses are situated about 60 miles south of Nashville in the middle of nowhere. In a ZIP code for the housing inventory has started to spike.
