1- A movement is tough.
2- You’re not good at it.
3- You haven’t filmed yourself to see what you’re actually doing.
Or all of the above.
The only real benefit of doing a shortened range of motion is boosting your ego since you’ll be able to lift way heavier. 😅
When you cheat yourself with quarter or half reps, you’re only getting quarter or half results.
Put your ego aside, do a full range of motion and you’ll get the best results that way. 👌
