Common Grackles and Blue Jays eating rice with their baby or young birds

Since last summer, I have fed birds in my yard with probably more than 100 lb of bird seeds. In addition to bird seeds, I also fed birds with some other things, like some fruits (apple, grape, blue berry, etc) or rice that we cannot finish. Birds don't seem to like fruits very much, but most of the birds around here like eating rice, like Sparrows, Common Grackles and Blue Jays.

It's really fun to watch these birds behaviors. Common Grackles seem to take care of their baby/young birds of about one or two months old very well. They love feeding these young birds that already grown up in term of body size, and these young birds enjoy being taken care of. As for Blue Jays, the parent birds stop feeding their baby/young birds once they grown up. Often you'll see that young Blue Jays chasing their parents for food or sometime pulling off food from their parent's mouth.
