‘Hear the fury’: It is ‘about time’ Anthony Albanese visited Alice Springs
Shadow Child Protection Minister Kerrynne Liddle says it is “about time” Prime Minister Anthony Albanese visited Alice Springs.
“Well, it is about time he visited because he can hear the fury that I have been hearing,” she said.
“From people living in communities where alcohol restrictions have been lifted.
“Just over 12 months ago, this government actually allowed the legislation to lapse that actually restricted the access to alcohol.
“Then waited around for consultation before it actually took action.”
