Two Ways to Center a Pattern, Remake Of a Cushion - Professional Tips and Tutorial
This is from a project I did a while ago. I had initially planned on using the original cushion cover for the pattern, but as I worked with it I discovered the fabric wasn't square on. The fabric I was using as a pattern was squiffy and then the fabric I was cutting into was just plain wonky. Which would have made a really lopsided looking back seat cushion.
I have been in the upholstery and interior decorating business for 30 years, as well as teaching these subjects both privately and in colleges. I have drawn on my years of teaching to put this video together and hoping to have answered all your questions.
