‘Lefties annoyed’ following NSW to announce life extension of Eraring power station
Sky News host Paul Murray says “lefties got a bit annoyed” following news that the Eraring power plant in New South Wales May have to have its life extended.
“Also one of the reasons why Eraring power plant is going to be kept alive is … the truth about New South Wales and energy,” Mr Murray said.
“According to the national energy markets very own website … 74 per cent of the power in NSW came from coal.
“Over the past three months, 73 per cent of the power in NSW came from coal and in the past two months, 72 per cent has come from coal.
“Oh yeah and power bills are going up as well, the expectation again from energy people is there will be even higher costs to just access the network let alone what you actually use.”
