LAST WEEKS VLOG: https://youtu.be/KT9wrBkDleg
Last week I travelled to North Wales to hook up with my great pal Jason Jones to photograph Watkin Path & Falls. I stayed over so the following day I decided to photograph the Not so famous Lone Tree at Llyn Dinas. Well, that was the plan at least.
Shooting Landscapes in poor light, is it worth it?
Jason suggested I photograph the tree at first light as the setting and location lent itself to a sunrise shot. Sadly it wasn't to be. I looked out from my warm van to be greeted with a very foggy morning. The light was really pants too. Oh well, it's a good enough excuse to snuggle back into my warm sleeping bag.
The light later that morning looked quite favourable so I decided to head off and photograph the tree. I was parked in the car park next to the Lone tree at Llanberis so I just thought I'd have a peep at that tree before I set off for Llyn Dinas. The water was high and calm. It looked amazing. I was there after all so why wouldn't I?
A few interesting and quite amusing things happened that morning. Watch the video and I hope you enjoy it.
THANK YOU
Gary
