Many of us have suffered from anxiety for many years and still cant seem the light at the end of the tunnel. I believe that a lot of us with panic / anxiety disorders concentrate on the wrong things.
We are so consumed by the physical and mental stress symptoms and put all of our focus on to them.
We seek reassurance on the internet, from friends, from doctors everything and everyone who can give us that quick burst of relief is more than welcome. It makes sense. In those few moments we feel free and happy. WE might not even feel the symptoms anymore. The only thing is that we remain this tensed and stressed person. So after that intense burst of relief we will just return to our old and worrisome self again. And here lies the problem. We have had these few moments of relief and in a way our brain tends to think that this is the way to go for recovery. Just keep on digging and researchign until you have found something that is a 100% match. WHEN YOU HAVE FOUND THAT YOU WILL BE FINE! I can tell you guys. There is no one or nothing external that can give you long lasting anxiety recovery. You will have to put in the work yourself. By working on your root causes and implementing new and healthy stress coping mechanisms into your life.
Don’t jump from one doctors apoinment to the next one. Don’t end up googling your symptoms for hours but make use of that time and form great habits and eliminate any anxiety triggers you may have.
DO not rely on external sources for your recovery but recovery has to come from the inside out!
