0:00 Intro
0:05 The mechanic didn't mention what kind of vehicle or if their was any other damage to the vehicle. But I've seen a handful of wheels fall off vehicles while customers were driving and it actually results in a lot more damage.
0:24 Well this could have ended badly. Actually good thing the exhaust was broken, so most of the exhaust gases did not come out of the tail pipe and cause a fire with the fuel leaking onto the exhaust. The mechanic mentioned this was on a Saturn and the cause of the fuel leak was from the broken exhaust. It was bouncing around a caused a little hole in a fuel line.
0:43 As described. Mechanics were looking for a transmission fluid leak and found the transmission bell housing to be full of fluid but couldn't exactly tell where it was coming from. They decided to pressurize the torque converter and found a small pin hole in it. Great find!
0:55 This was on a F-550 Dually (inside tire) so the mechanic thinks that the tire was off the bead and they kept driving it and it started to fill up the tire full of mud/mud rocks. Hopefully that's the correct terminology lol.
1:06 As described. Inside of a fuel filter of a 2005 F-150, that hasn't been changed in 160,000 miles (257496 kilometers). Change your fuel filters!
1:14 As described. Weird that their was a staple behind the master cylinder as well. Also the mechanic mentioned that it was just pure mud in the master cylinder and the vehicle and their was no brake fluid to be found.
1:28 As described. Mechanic didn't mention what kind of truck this was on, but I think a GMC or Chevrolet. The truck is used on a refinery site and idles for around 7 hours a day from what the mechanic said.
1:44 A blown up engine from an Audi Q3, 2.0L. Did not mention anything else unfortunately.
That's the engine oil pan they removed.
1:55 As described. Who ever installed the brakes installed them backwards.
2:09 As described. Struts off a 2012 Dodge Caravan that just passed an safety inspection at another shop.
2:18 Very worn rear struts on a vehicle.
2:22 A customer needed air in their tires so they decided to just drive into the shop themselves and drove onto the alignment rack, but missed... Mechanic said vehicle is a 2011 Kia Soul.
2:34 Please don't ever do this lol.
2:44 The mechanic didn't mention what kind of vehicle this was from but as I said, it's ridiculous what kind of features and functions some vehicles have nowadays. What happened to simplicity? Either way, just wanted to share that clip.
3:05 Outro. Thanks for watching!
