DO YOU HEAR ME NOW? // Stories to Educate on Racism
Hear My Story begins a new series called "Do You Hear Me Now?" -- with stories to help educate on the history of racial inequality. We hope that by hearing from those who have personal experience with this issue that it will help us to understand deeper and create a desire to bring change.
"It would make you mad but you couldn't do nothing about it"...
We had the privilege to sit with a wonderful lady and listen as she shared her story of growing up in the South during a time that segregation was still practiced and the Black community felt "less than". She vulnerably describes moments of her life that she experienced inequality and how those moments made her and her felt.
We hope this story brings new light to the topic of racial inequality and bring us closer to bringing change.
