Charles Walloch shares his story of how he found himself in the darkest season of his life. He shares that his dependency wasn’t correlated to any tragedy or life event. It just became something that he couldn’t separate himself from. He felt like his best self with alcohol in him. He shares that his lowest point came when he received an eviction notice due to his lack of caring for anything except his addiction. He got to the point that he didn’t want to drink anymore but the need for it was all he knew. He thought he had control of it but instead it was controlling him. After multiple close encounters with death due to his dependence issues and losing people in his life he knew he needed a change.
Through Gods grace, support from family and his rehab he has been able to come out of the pit he had dug for himself and he has hope that his life will continue to rebuild his life.
