Sourdough Starter Showdown - Profile timelapse for "breadonbluetiles" #shorts

It's Rebecca's time to shine with "Hey You Two"! I love the story behind the name so make sure and check out her results page for the details. This was an interesting one because Rebecca has two starters, but her primary one is a rye starter that doesn't like the strong white bread flour that I use for all competitors (to keep it all as fair as possible). I don't work with rye much so it was fun to profile the rye starter (with rye flour) and see how different it responds (rye starters are apparently quite the dramatic starters with all the pronounced nooks and crannies!.... ok I might be a little too into starters 🤷🤣). Anyway, that was a profiling session that was just for fun and didn't "count" in the compeition. But "Hey You Two" was a starter that... well... wasn't adverse to strong white bread flour at least... so that was a good enough start. It still didn't lke the transition very well and it took a good couple weeks of feeds to get it comfortable enough to show us what it could really do... but we finally got there!

And for its official profiling session, Hey You Two did wonderfully and has claimed the number 4 spot on our current leaderboard!
