"I can't believe I haven't bought a loaf for 4 years!"... Judy said this to me and I thought it was the perfect example of how this "hobby" can deliver so much good to the families of the home bakers that have been bitten by the sourdough bug! Delicious home baked sourdough bread on tap every day?.... yes please!

I also am extra proud of Judy and her starter "Rona" because Judy happened across my YouTube series on learning to bake sourdough at the start of the pandemic... so I'll pretend to take just the smallest bit of credit for the wonderful bread she produces ;)

OK let's be honest... it was Judy's passion for the craft, backed up by her wonderful starter "Rona" that deserve all the credit here.... well done you two!

Oh... and BTW for the first time I've had to enact a Showdown rule I figured I was going to have to use at some point.... when there's a tie in results - the tiebreaker will be the speed at which a starter got to their peak. In this case, Rona tied at 238% but Rona made it there in 5.4 hours, whereas the other starter got there in 4.4 hours. But (as of the current leaderboard results) that still allows her to claim an impressive 6th place spot - amazing!
