How to Build a Simple Crosscut Sled - I needed a crosscut sled for some upcoming projects so in this video I build a simple, no frills crosscut sled for my table saw. The base is 1/2 inch plywood and the fence rails are two strips of 3/4 plywood laminated together. I used a cheap poly cutting board to make the runners. The advantage here is that there is no concern with expansion and contraction with moisture in the air like you would have to account for if you were using wood. I used the 5 cut method to align the fence to within 6 thousandths...which is close enough for me! If you have any questions please comment below or contact me via the socials.
