In this video I build a desk organizer for pens, pencils, markers, etc that also has a metal display that can be used for pictures, to-do lists, reminders, etc. This was my first project really working with hardwoods...in this case walnut and maple. These were some smaller off-cuts that I picked up pretty cheap from my local hardwood dealer. These off-cuts are a great way to "get your feet wet" working with hardwoods without breaking the bank or being too scared to mess something up.
