China slams 60 countries, organizations for congratulating Tsai on reelection
Beijing has lashed out at some 60 countries and global organizations for congratulating President Tsai Ing-wen on her reelection. China''s foreign ministry has issued a statement of protest, saying the congratulatory messages run afoul of the "One China principle." The ministry emphasized that the Taiwan issue was a domestic issue.
