Chloe Spring / Summer 2016

PARIS — Chloé Girls evidently rule the world or at least this much was true Thursday morning at the Grand Palais when eight models at Next including Ella W, Vera Van Erp, Nirvana Naves, Olivia Jansing, Lineisy Montero, Julia Fleming, Grace Hartzel, and Hazel Crew all featured in the brand’s Spring / Summer 2016 runway show. Much was made of the names of girls Kate, Chloe, Cecilia, Corinne, and others, but truth be told the significance so far as this page is concerned was the runway debut Hazel made as a Chloé exclusive. The girl from the Midwest was elated to be walking for first time and on such a vaunted stage as is Clair Waight-Keller’s Chloé. The early October sunshine bathing the backstage and runway could not be more on-brand for Chloé, a label that is as as dreamy-eyed as it is sunny bright, not, it must be said, unlike Hazel Crew herself. Chloé Girls do indeed rule the world, they surely did Thursday morning.
