More Australians return home from Israel after second reparation flight lands in Sydney
A second reparation flight from Tel Aviv has arrived in Sydney carrying 252 passengers.
The plane landed at 8:30pm AEDT on Wednesday, carrying 126 Australian residents and their immediate family members.
65 Solomon Island citizens and 18 Vanuatu citizens were also on board the Qantas flight.
The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade is working to provide further assistance to Australians affected by the situation in Israel.
Emotions were high as people celebrated the return of their loved ones, some crying as they hugged each other in the waiting area.
