‘Innovative and dynamic’: Australia’s car industry booming again

Australia’s automotive industry is growing rapidly which is a great testament to our nation’s capability in the area, says Walkinshaw Automotive Group’s Ryan Walkinshaw.

“We’ve become a more innovative and dynamic group in this sort of sector,” Mr Walkinshaw told Sky News host Erin Molan.

“What resulted from quite a disappointing area in the automotive manufacturing space in this country has kind of phoenixed into a completely new way that we go about building cars.

“So myself and some of my competitors, we’ve created a sort of nursery of innovation here in Australia.

“It’s a fantastic portfolio across the sort of group of companies that do this in Australia, which my one is one of them as well.”
