'It's a very troubling time': Further rate rises forecasted this year
Shadow Water Minister Perin Davey discusses the “scary” proposition of the RBA lifting interest rates.
This follows comments made by Judo Bank Chief Economic Adviser Warren Hogan on the possibility of three rate rises this year.
Ms Davey told Sky News Australia that “Australians are feeling it right in their hip pockets”.
“It’s a very troubling time,” she added.
“We’re not hearing a solution from this government.”
