How To Make Smoked Salmon Canapés | Easy Platters

Quick and Easy Smoked Salmon Canapes

First, lay out some smoked salmon on your cutting board and cut into 1 inch wide strips. Once they are cut, roll them inwards, and shape them.

Next, for the pickled cucumbers, you'll need to slice a whole cucumber and put it into a bowl of white vinegar and water. You can add some spices into it to add more flavour.

After that, grab your peeled and boiled red beet and blend it well. Add in cream cheese and continue blending. Take out the cucumber slices and pat them dry with a paper towel. Once the cream cheese is well incorporated with the beet, transfer it into a piping bag.
Pipe some cream cheese on top of each cucumber and add the rolled up Smoked Salmon. 2 per each slice of cucumber.

For garnish, I used thinly slice celery, and celery leaves. Place a few pieces in between the smoked salmon.
I crushed and chopped a few capers, chopped some dill and added a tbsp of Mayonnaise. Mixed it together well and place a touch on each piece of Salmon. You can some more dill for extra colour. I also added a variety of different coloured Caviar on top of the salmon. Thinly slice some raddish and cut it in half. You can add that in the middle and another garnish option.

I had some of the cream cheese left so I piped some on the side, and put an Enoki mushroom on the cream cheese. Place them on an individual platter or on a big one.
