Kenmare service station runs out of petrol and diesel #RTÉNews #fuelprices #protest

A forecourt in Kenmare, Co Kerry, has run out of petrol and diesel as a blockade of the Whitegate oil refinery in Cork continues.

The owner, Independent Councillor Dan McCarthy, says he’s “appealing to both sides” to come together to end the blockade.

Minister for Justice Jim O’Callaghan said today that the Army has been requested to remove vehicles which are blocking critical infrastructure.
