Footage released by ABC News shows its Senior White House Correspondent Selina Wang ducking for cover as gunshots rang out near the White House.

Officials said the gunman, who opened fire on Secret Service officers outside the White House, had died after being shot.

A bystander was also shot during the exchange of fire.
