Musicians Who Permanently Damaged Their Bodies While Performing Live

Performing on stage night-after-night can really take a toll, and many musicians often feel like they have to constantly be improving their live shows to please their fans.

Sadly, this has often led to injuries and lifelong damage to their bodies. Prince became famous for his colorful live shows that often included the singer jumping while wearing high heels, but this led to a lifetime of horrible back pain, and other musicians have done serious damage to their hearing, their vocal cords, and their necks due to strenuous concert tours.
