During my three days staying with the Qashqai nomads, one of the days was spent walking around the Zagros mountains and visiting several different nomad families. My host, Bahman, was born and raised in the Zagros mountains as a nomad, and knew all the families near by.

Each home we went to offered something something, from tea, watching them herd their flocks, a new born goat or a hair cut among the mountains.
