solo female travel to luxembourg

SEPTEMBER 2019 | I took a day trip from Paris to Luxembourg, which was only a 2.5 hour train ride away. Although it was only a short trip, I still managed to do some great activities in Luxembourg.

Here is a list of the top things I did in Luxembourg City:
1. Explore the Old Town
-The entire Old Town of Luxembourg City is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. With endless cobblestone streets and charming buildings, you can stop by any of the cafes and restaurants for a coffee or bite to eat.

2. Go to Le Chemin de la Corniche or "the balcony of Europe"
-Known as the most beautiful balcony of Europe, come here for spectacular views of Luxembourg City and the old town. The perfect place to get a selfie or a photo with your friends.

3. Go to the Casemates du Bock
-Come see underground tunnels and caves that were used during WWII and also see incredible views of Luxembourg City. The entrance is 4 euros which is well worth the views and experience.

4. See the changing of the guards at the Grand Ducal-Palace
-Although it may not be as spectacular as the changing of the guards in Buckingham Palace, it is still a cool experience to see the changing of the guards at the official residence of the Grand Duke of Luxembourg. It will also not cost you a time.

5. Visit the Adolphe Bridge
-An iconic landmark of Luxembourg, the Adolphe Bridge is one of the main bridges in Luxembourg and beautiful to see.
