Aloha snare line

Three snares were set up in the corner of a field where pigs were observed passing through a hole in the fence. A simple lightweight fence was also installed to guide them through the snares.

An automatic infrared camera recorded the activity. What looks brightly lighted is actually pitch dark to the naked eye.

Nothing was caught yet, but it shows a pig stepping through the snare line without touching the trigger.

This is the first night these snares have been set up. They're intended to be used only when someone is there to react immediately if something has been caught.
