Intensity is the most important variable in your training. Not saying you need to go to failure on EVERY set, but stopping 5 reps shy (RPE 5) is significantly hindering your growth.
The most effective reps for hypertrophy are often times the last 5 reps before you hit failure!
Supplements, training programs, super secret optimal exercises, all of this stuff is nice...but how hard you train will always be the main limiting factor in muscular development.
