GPS fail! Smart rigging saves this Ford F-150 from falling down a hill

In today's recovery, we have a GPS fail and use some smart rigging that saves a Ford F-150 from falling down a hill. The customer followed his GPS that unfortunately led him down a path NOT meant for vehicles. I happened to do a job in this exact spot months ago and knew exactly what to bring this time.

My BA car straps, extra snatchblocks and shackles and my brand new 150' synthetic rope sling. I got this sling because of how many vehicle recoveries I do that are several hundred feet down hills and finally got a chance to test it.

Using that one single piece of equipment, we rigged to both the front and back passenger side of the truck, and used multiple snatchblocks and an anchor point to bring everything over simultaneously. This rigging allowed us to pull with just one winch cable and prevented the boom from being side loaded.
