Reflecting on her own past as a "bulldozer" who pushed her own ideas forward, she reveals how true empathy requires what she calls "heart hearing"—the active choice to understand what someone else is genuinely feeling. Her talk reminds us that catching another person's ideas like a fragile snowflake isn’t just about being quiet; it is a quiet superpower that makes people feel seen, valued, and permanently connected Growing up half Korean and half Austrian, Yunah moves fluidly between English, German, and Korean — and has discovered that each language carries its own way of seeing the world. Inspired by her experience as Student Council President in Grade 5, where she learned that true leadership means listening before deciding, Yunah became deeply interested in the hidden power of empathy. Through her talk, she hopes to show audiences that listening is not a passive act but a quiet superpower that lets us hear what people are truly feeling, even when words fall short.
