HUD Pumps $256 Million Into The Housing Market

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is offering $256 million to help improve neighborhoods and homes. This money will go to places that need it, like public housing areas and their nearby neighborhoods. Groups like public housing offices and local governments can ask for up to $50 million each to make their communities better. They'll use the money to fix up old buildings, help people with things like health and education, and make the area nicer. This way, they hope to create a mix of different kinds of homes and make the neighborhood a better place for everyone.
