I want to go over my experience running the full body split the last 30 days and see if running the Full Body Split is something you can benefit from. I'll go over why the full body split may be the best option for you and ill also play the devils advocate and provide reasons why it might be better for you to run another split - for example, push-pull legs or upper-lower split

Looking back to my beginner days, When I first started training I was a victim of running the typical 5-day bro split, without knowing any better I thought absolutely destroying a single body part in a single session was optimal from having the typical meathead mindset of more as better. Or even worse, an idiotic mindset of training harder than yesterday - which lead me to suffer from rhabdomyolysis

This said I do believe the bro split can be effective but, I also do believe you're leaving a lot of progress on the table

Before dive deeper we have to understand a few fundamentals:
A) mechanical tension main drive
b) muscle damage metabolic stress
c) progressive tension overload

Because of these mechanisms if we take a step forward we will see a 2x per week frequency will allow for high volume along with providing your body an adequate stimulus more frequently to be a higher net anabolic phase of the week

1. Higher Frequency (2x per week frequency or more)
2. Junk Volume (High Quality Volume + More Volume)
3. Fun Bodybuilding Workout Split

I enjoyed it to switch it up, I was a part of the 1% that did experience joint pain - which I speculate it could've stemmed from other issues

I also enjoy pushing the heavy lifts to higher RPEs sometimes but, the enjoyment factor of doing something new was great

I had a lot of fun and made a lot of progress but, I will be continuing to periodize my split as I personally found it hard to prioritize a muscle group since I had to hit everything very frequently

With more intelligent programming I could've mitigated that but, it was a great experience - my advice would be if you're a Serious intermediate-advanced trainee you'll get great results - but, be careful of overtraining.
