House Chores From My Wheelchair

As I mentioned in a post a few weeks ago it’s important not to let my disability become an excuse or reason not to contribute to general responsibilities in my life. This goes for my marriage as well! Andrea and I are a team and just because I use a wheelchair doesn’t mean I shouldn’t contribute equally to the things that need to get done. We’re Kasey & Andrea. A Minnesotan and Salvadorian husband and wife living and loving life in Minnesota, USA. We live an adaptive lifestyle that allows us to be active, independent, and live life to the fullest.

We’ve been together a total of 8 years and going into our 4th year of marriage. Through all of these years together (and with Kasey’s 28 years of living with Spina Bifida) we have learned A LOT about adaptive equipment and products, and multiple ways on how to modify things around our homes and lives.

We have traveled to different parts of North and Latin America so far and planning to adventure a lot more in the near future.
We created this blog to share with others our personal experience with living an active and independent adapted life. We’ll be sharing adaptive product and equipment reviews of what we have used in the past; posts of some of the most fun places we’ve been able to visit during our travels. Last but not least, we’ll also share content regarding Kasey’s weight loss journey and adaptive fitness and exercise ideas.

We’re extremely excited to be able to reach out AND also learn from others who are living an adaptive life to the fullest!
