The Secretary

While humans have to try out serums, extensions, and perms to get lashes that look long and curled, “the secretary” is born with them. Not just that, these birds also have feathers that frame their heads like a built-in crown, symbolizing the absolute queens they are! On top of that, they’ve also got extremely long legs that make them stand almost 5 feet tall! So they’re basically the supermodels of the bird world! But these birds aren’t all looks, they’re also incredibly hunters!

They’re able to use their long legs to their advantage and travel as far as 18 miles a day on foot without getting tired at all! Once they have chased their prey down to where they wanted them, they’ll use their razor-sharp beaks, and grab their prey instantly and eat them! Now that’s a strong independent birdie that needs to man!

Blue Crowned Pigeon

Almost every region of the world has its own type of pigeon. Generally, they all more or less look the same. They’re kinda fluffy, have tiny beaks, and are either white, or varying shades of grey, but this pigeon vowed to be different, and well, it succeeded! The blue-crowned pigeon is “crowned” as being the largest pigeon in the world! They’re so big that on average, they weigh around 5 pounds easily! But the crown and their size might not be the first thing you notice about them.

More often than not, it’s the fact that they’re a striking blue that catches everyone’s eye. And well, when you’re able to catch a glimpse of these birds yourself, you’ll realize that that’s no coincidence, these birds are actually so beautiful, that they’d definitely make you do a double-take!
