2021-01-13 Xiao Qi Ji ~ A Persistent, Precious Pest!

Day 145 #PandaStory: Scenes from 2pm Tuesday until 7am this morning, mostly showing Xiao Qi Ji pestering his mother Mei Xiang while she was eating. Watch for the foot block!

Scene 1: Mei Xiang and Qi Ji in the playpen both before (with PIP since they were on the edge of camera 1) and after her visit to room 2. No audio available for the after, but Qi Ji did nurse.

Scene 2: Late afternoon, Qi Ji on the ledge trying to play with momma's head, especially her ears.

Scene 3: Just before midnight, Qi Ji had been asleep on the ledge right at 1 hour, when he groggily tumbled into the playpen.

Scene 4: Early morning finds Mei Xiang alternating between eating and playing with Qi Ji. He didn't get the memo that mommie was not to be interrupted. But Mei is so indulging and patient with him, giving him the time and attention he's asking for! And that hippity-hoppity he does when he runs to and from her is really cute!

Last scenes: Xiao Qi Ji hasn't quite figured out how to get up room 3's rockwork between the 2 water wells (it's an overhang, so no "paw"holds, but after playing with the white "toy", he did figure out how to get up on the rockwork's ledge on the higher side (around the 21 minute mark). I think we all can agree that he still needs to work on his dismounts, but he's getting better!
