Stray cat knew exactly what to do when she needed help

A stray cat in Liverpool appeared to "know exactly what to do" when she repeatedly returned to a family home, leading her rescuers to her newborn kittens. Anna Foxhall, 27, from Anfield, is no stranger to caring for stray animals. With five cats of her own, three of them former strays, she and her family are well known locally for helping wandering animals.

So when a cautious mother cat began visiting their garden every hour or two, Anna suspected something was wrong. The repeated visits raised suspicions the cat had kittens nearby.
