Hiking in Japan | Mt. Katsuragi - Hiking & Haikus

Mt. Katsuragi, 959.2 meters, straddles the border between Osaka and Nara prefectures and is famous for its beauty and panoramic view. In ancient times, Mt. Katsuragi was considered a sacred mountain.
Haiku is a Japanese form of poetry which in English uses three lines of 5-7-5 syllables. So, it is a short form of poetry, often using nature for a theme. One of the masters of the haiku was Matsuo Basho (1664-1694).
