The Only Place in Japan Where You Can Drive on the Beach!

In Ishikawa Prefecture, just outside the capital city of Kanazawa, is the Noto Satoyama Highway, a coastal road that follows the sea of Japan to the Noto Peninsula. This highway takes you to the Chirihama Nagisa Driveway, the only spot in Japan where cars can drive on the beach. It's a beautiful spot, and driving your car on the beach makes the experience that much more fun. If you don't have a car of your own, there seems to be a taxi service that can take you for the drive.
