Honda Clarity 2 Year Update - ACTUAL OWNER A Plug In Hybrid Honeymoon with Fuel Data, Pros and Cons

The Clarity offers a MPGe rating of 126 city/103 highway. This rating has been fairly close to accurate for me. Fuel Economy is 45.5 on Gasoline only as an average for me.

After 17,000 Miles, The factory tires and brakes are still in use. The car has had two oil changes, and as far as I can tell, it asks the oil to be changed each year. The tires have been rotated once, at approximately 8,800 miles. For me Driving has been 78% Electricity and 22% Gasoline.

Electricity cost is approximately $9.50 monthly. Total Gasoline cost for approximately
17,500 Miles is $230 US.

No major issues have occurred.

Two Oil/Filter Changes have cost a total of $55. I changed the oil myself. That is currently the only maintenance cost associated with the car.

The car has been to the dealership twice, Once for a recall on the HV range calculator. This was solved with a software update. The other trip was for a recall of the A/C Condenser. Both recalls were no charge.
