2018 Honda Clarity Long Term Review & Honda Sensing Semi Autonomous Driving Demo

I made the right decision buying the 2018 Honda Clairty instead of waitting for the Tesla Model 3 Standard. This is one of the most practical PHEV for city commuting and long-distance travel in my opinion.

Pros:
Excellent handling and driving dynamic for a 4000lb PHEV
Great low end torque (beats most gasoline cars at take off)

Very quiet cabin interior
Excellent Pure EV range (50 miles in warm areas)
Excellent Hybrid Gas mileage (45+ mpg hwy speed)
Fast charging speed w/Level 2 charger (less than 5 hr full)
Awesome for stop n go traffic (with Honda Sensing and Break Hold)
Awesome for long distance travel (with Honda Sensing and Lane Keeping Assist)
Decent audio (better than Accord)

Cons:
Outdated last generation entertainment system
Gasoline engine is very noisy when kicks in, most noisy in HV Charge mode
Reduced trunk pass-thru space because of elevated battery pack in the trunk
No hitch option without modification to the body panels
Slow charging speed using Level 1 charger (12hr from empty to full)
Center console (Gear switches) could be better designed to increase useable space
